The Development Platform for Performing Arts invited to a webinar on the good co-production agreement with Mikkel Søndergaard Kryger from the producer community prfrm as host in September 2024.
Co-productions between established theatres and self-producing companies are a win-win for the performing arts - but how do you ensure a good agreement between the theatre and the producing group?
UP will explore this in the first webinar of the season, hosted by Mikkel Søndergaard Kryger from the producer community prfrm.
Co-productions ensure that the independent field gets stage space, that theatres are oxygenated, and that audiences get unique experiences. But how do you establish a good collaboration with institutional theatres? And what aspects of institutional theatres do we need to know and understand?
In this webinar, we'll dive into different examples of agreements and look at how to ensure that you and your artists get the best co-production with a theatre. We'll look at what's important to clarify in the contract phase, the different processes - and everything that's not in the agreement.
We'll go through what you need to have on your checklist to ensure a good collaboration between your team and the theatre. After Mikkel's presentation, you will have the opportunity to ask questions via the chat.
The presentation lasts approximately 35 minutes.
Please note that the video is only in Danish.
