OPEN CALL: MOVING IDENTITIES

Internationalt residency-program nu åbent for ansøgninger

Move people, move standpoints, move perceptions. Challenge perspectives, connect with people and places. This is Moving Identities.

Is your group ready for UP's international residency collaboration? Are you interested in working with the themes of diversity, inclusion and modern European identity?

Then the opportunity to participate in Moving Identities might be for you. - Between September 2024 and June 2025, you will participate in three 10-day residencies in three European countries. Along the way, you'll also receive mentorship programmes, seminars and new international collaboration opportunities.

Moving Identities is a residency exchange collaboration between venues and organisations in Hammerfest (no), Copenhagen (dk), Dresden (de), Hasselt (be) and Barcelona (es) supported by EU Creative Europe to support your international career opportunities and strengthen diversity and inclusion in artistic development in Europe.

In addition to the opportunity to develop in an international context, participants receive €4000 per company member and meals during the residencies.

Groups and companies of 2-5 professional performing artists can apply with projects in performance, dance and theatre (all must have a work and residence permit in a participating country).
All artistic approaches are allowed - investigative art, artistic activism, socially engaging or otherwise. However, not all venues are equipped for full production, so priority is given to projects in the research phase.

Priority is given to artists who are underrepresented in European performing arts, and we encourage everyone regardless of background and ability to apply.
