Join a dialogue meeting with the Danish Arts Foundation's Committee for Performing Arts about the new funding deadlines

Join us for a dialogue meeting on Friday 17 January at 10-12. Danish Arts Foundation's Committee for Performing Arts will answer questions and explain the basis for the change in a number of funding deadlines.

On 31 October this year, the Project Support Committee for Performing Arts (PUS) announced a number of changes to pools and deadlines. Come to a dialogue meeting at UP, where PUS will explain the basis for the changes and answer questions.

Before the meeting, we recommend that you reflect on how you think the changes will affect the independent field and your work.

The dialogue meeting will take place at UP at Baldersgade 6, 2200 Kbh N. If you are unable to attend in person, you can participate online.

The dialogue meeting will be in Danish

To participate, you must register no later than 15 January here:

Register for the dialogue meeting by 15 January here

In the registration form, you will be asked to answer a series of questions. Your answers will be anonymous and will be used by the organisers to create the best opportunities for different considerations and perspectives to be heard in the conversation.

The dialogue meeting is organised in collaboration between Projektstøtteudvalget for Scenekunst (PUS), Uafhængige Scenekunstnere, Danske Sceneinstruktører, Performing Arts Platform, Det Frie Felts Festival og Udviklingsplatformen for Scenekunst.

Changes announced on 31 October 2024:
  • The ‘Performing arts festivals’ pool will be discontinued as an independent pool. In the future, it will be possible to apply for grants for performing arts festivals in the ‘Performing arts for children, young people and adults’ pool by the deadline of 2 June 2025.
  • From 2026, the number of annual deadlines for the ‘Performing arts for children, young people and adults’ pool will be reduced from two to one. This means that the pool will have a deadline of 1 June 2026.
  • The annual deadlines for the reimbursement scheme will be reduced from three to two in 2025. It will therefore be possible to apply for reimbursement for the deadlines of 3 February and 1 October 2025 and not in August, as was the case in 2024.
  • The annual deadlines for the mediation scheme will be reduced from three to two in 2025. It will therefore be possible to apply for reimbursement approval for the deadlines of 11 April and 10 October 2025 and not in February, as was the case in 2024.
