UP Workspace

UP Workspace is a modern shared office space for performing artists. You or your group can rent an office space on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Access is available 24 hours a day, and we often have lunch together in the Green Room or our cosy courtyard.

You’ll get your own lockable locker, free coffee, and printing. UP takes care of cleaning, maintenance, and everything else - you just need to focus on your work.

What do I get?

A cosy work environment

As a freelancer in the performing arts, you’re often on your own and sometimes under pressure. At UP Workspace, we create a focused environment and a culture where we support one another in maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Flexibility

You can choose between a full-time flexible spot and a part-time flexible spot. As a company, club, or group, you can share your membership. One spot can be shared by two people.

You can have a work address at UP

One of the benefits of having a space at Workspace is that you can register your business or organization at UP's address.

Professional and great working conditions

As a member, you’ll have a desk in our quiet, undisturbed area. The workspace is furnished with comfortable furniture, a cozy interior, and plants. We have 6 flexible workstations that are suitable for various work situations.

Opportunity to have lunch with others

You're welcome to use UP's kitchen and backyard and have lunch with the rest of us who are in the building. Every Wednesday, we have lunch together in the Green Room.

Invite guests to meetings at UP

As a workspace member, you have the opportunity to book UP's meeting rooms for free.

Involvement in UP

Members can suggest topics and ideas for UP’s seminars or events. UP staff hold regular meetings with Workspace members to discuss the work environment and the community.

Types of membership:

Full-time flex

24/7 access to the Workspace and meeting rooms. You can sit at any available desk in the Workspace, which you must clear every day. You have your own locked locker for your belongings. As a company, club, or group, you can share your membership. One space can be shared by two people.

Part-time flex (18 hours per week)

Access to the Workspace and meeting rooms 18 hours a week. You can sit at any available desk in the Workspace, which you must clear every day. You have your own lockable cabinet for your belongings. As a company, club, or group, you can share your membership. One space can be shared by two people.

PRICES AND TERMS

FULL TIME FLEX

Price: 1,650 DKK/month, excluding VAT

(for residents outside the Capital Region: 1,200 DKK/month, excluding VAT)

Minimum contract term: 2 months. Notice period: 1 month.

PART TIME FLEX

Price: 1,050 DKK/month, excluding VAT

(for residents outside the Capital Region: 750 DKK/month, excluding VAT)

Minimum contract term: 2 months. Notice period: 1 month.

MOVING IN

You can move in at any time. There are currently places available.

PAYMENT

At the time of signing the agreement, 3 months' rent is paid in advance.

The rent is charged for payment on the 1st of each month, from the beginning of the rental period.

NB: The rent increases by 3% every year on 1 January.

When purchasing a day pass, you pay by mobile pay on arrival or by invoice.

Who can join Workspace?

All individuals and groups working in the performing arts—primarily, but not limited to, those in the independent, self-producing sector.
Note: We do not have recording studios or workshops at UP.
